East Yorkshire Hydraulics was founded by John Williams and Barrie Kirby in 1979. The vision was to use their combined talents to provide a quality, efficient service that they felt the industry needed. Starting in a small unit in Hull, the company quickly expanded as the company’s reputation spread.
Today, the company is running out of facility of around 10,000 square feet, with manufacturing and testing facilities to cope with the largest of jobs.
The company has had a history of training school leavers and regularly takes on apprentices, both helping the local economy and providing the industry with more professionals. Several of the company’s key members of staff are EYH trained apprentice alumni.
